Twenty add two years more
Gave me no reasons, had none before
Days come and doesn't last long
Took my age with it along
Happiness is but a twisted smile
Somewhere in the bend of life stayed a while
The corners are dark and dry
Can't tell a laughter from a cry
When half spent nights grew younger
And another year has grown colder
There's one star to guide and enlight
Which in the darkness still a speck of light
